Concrete lamp

Illumination
Concrete
fiberglass & resin
By turning around the logic of stability, this piece was created. A heavy concrete top on a light translucent thin piece of fiberglass. The lamp bulb is partially embedded in the concrete and slightly sticks out to illuminate the fiberglass base. The fixtures for the lamp are integrated into the concrete mold to minimize the number of parts necessary.
